How It Works
A season, run as a plan.
Spectropa turns nine months of syllabus into a sequence of daily decisions you never have to make yourself. Specto — the coaching voice inside the product — reads every answer and points you at the unit where one focused session moves the most.
Diagnose
A short diagnostic per unit opens the season. Nine minutes and Spectropa knows where to start — no onboarding forms about your goals, just evidence.
Sharpen
Daily sessions in three free questions or unlimited full sessions: Rapid Rounds for exam-condition drilling, Synapse Surge for questions harder than the exam by design, FRQ Lab with full rubrics. Spaced reviews land exactly when a memory starts to fade.
Forge
Each unit ends in a Forge Run — a dedicated test. Pass it and the unit's fragment is yours permanently. Collect every fragment to unlock the Final Cumulative Gauntlet, a full-length simulation that earns your bronze, silver, or gold Forge Plate.
Prove
A Full Exam Simulation mirrors the real exam's structure and timing, and triggers your mid-season credential. The season closes with a credential anyone can verify — and it never claims to be, or predict, an AP score.
The Gap Map
Where you stand, at a glance.
Your Gap Map is the unit-by-unit picture of the subject. Beside it runs your emission spectrum — one slot per unit, in syllabus order. Width is the unit's weighting in the exam; height is your state in it. The gaps are information too.
Three of nine units sharpened, three sharpening, two dulled, one not started.
Three states you learn in a day
Dulled. Sharpening. Sharpened.
Dulled
Both facets open. A unit you have not touched, or one that has slipped back. Nothing to be ashamed of — it is a fact about the topic, not a judgement about you.
Sharpening
The lower facet fills white — never yellow. You are mid-work: questions answered, accuracy climbing, reviews queueing at the right moments.
Sharpened
Both facets take Prism Yellow — the only yellow on the mark, earned, never decorative. The unit holds under exam conditions.
